Here's how it works:  
Purchase the basic Traditional Line Preservation (see below) service for $80.  
You will receive a packet with order forms, instructions, and prepaid FedEx shipping label. Package your items, following instructions and using your own box, and ship them by FedEx (shipping already paid) to The Wedding Gown Preservation Company.  
In about 3 weeks, you will receive your item(s) beautifully displayed and preserved!

*Preservation Kit price includes your child's Gown or Tux.  Mark any additional items, such as hats, shoes, etc. on the order form and include payment to The Wedding Gown Preservation Company for preservation of those items with your shipment.

The Preservation Kit
Your prepaid kit includes detailed instructions for shipping and everything you need to ship your heirloom to us, even the shipping label!

Included in your kit is a Repairs Request form. Wedding Gown Preservation Company prides itself on having a large staff of tailors and seamstresses that handle most repairs for a nominal fee.  If you need repairs, you may select categories on this form and enclose it, along with a check for the appropriate amount, in the shipper with your garment. Pricing information for preservation of other items such as shoes, bonnets and more, can be selected and paid for on the form included in your kit.

Your preservation chest is shipped to you sealed.  The chest can be opened.  We enclose resealing materials to place inside the seams of the preservation chest.  Your guarantee will not be voided if you need to open the preservation chest.  However, you should take care to reseal the chest with the resealing materials provided.  We also enclose gloves with which to handle the garment.  If your heirloom is handled excessively or soiled, it should be cleaned and preserved again.

The Preservation Process
We put the highest degree of professional care into the heirloom processing of your garment. First, we examine your special outfit to find all spots.  A detailed Quality Control Report is updated through each and every step. We use proven formulas to remove spots and treat the entire garment for sugar stains.  Your garment is thoroughly cleaned with extra attention given to the neckline, trim and hemlines. Our experts shape the outfit carefully, wrap it in acid-free tissue, and gently set it into a preservation chest with an acid-free display window.  The preservation chest is then enclosed in a 700 lb.-test shipping carton. Your outfit is then shipped back to you prepaid anywhere in the United States via Fed Ex Ground.  The preservation process will be completed in 10-15 business days after we receive it.  Please Note: During the height of our busy season (July - September), the preservation process can take slightly longer.  Repairs or additional services requested may also extend the processing time. Insurance is included in the prepaid shipping, but you may request additional insurance, if you would like.  To do that, simply enclose a check or money order (made payable to Wedding Gown Preservation Co.) for $2.00/per $100.00 of additional insurance and specify what it is for.

100% guarantee against caramelized sugar stains or yellowing of the garment.   If at any time the garment is found to have yellowed or has caramelized stains, we will restore the garment at no extra charge to the customer. If re-processing is unsuccessful, we will refund the preservation cost. Store your garment in a COOL, DRY AREA.  Never store in an attic or basement.
